• Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and assisting with guest needs to optimize turnover
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food handling standards in compliance with health regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• Previous experience in serving roles such as host/hostess or bussing is advantageous
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality environments

• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a clean and inviting environment
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
• Support opening or closing duties including cash handling, POS reconciliation, and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or food service experience, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar booking platforms is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
