Part-Time Servers

Old Westbury Golf & Country Club, a private 490-member family Country Club, located in beautiful Old Westbury, NY is searching for full-time and part-time servers.

Job Description:

The potential candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest possible level of courteous and professional service at all times. Ensures that all members and their guests are served quickly, efficiently and according to Club standards. Through teamwork, our food & beverage staff sets up lunch and dinner for buffets, family style and a la carte services for our membership and catering events.

Candidate Qualifications:

-Must be able to interact with members and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.

-Must be available to work on weekends, nights and certain holidays.

-Follow established service procedures.

-Complete opening and closing side work.

-Previous experience is required.

-Ability to travel to and from work independently.

-Previous Club experience is a plus.

Old Westbury has a rich history and offers 27 holes of golf, one indoor and 14 outdoor tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. Currently the club has 490-member families. Summers are busy when the pool opens (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend). Multiple dining facilities offer varying meal periods with a range of cuisine styles. Annual Food and Beverage revenues approximate $4.6 million.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Food Service: 1 year (Required)
• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Required)
