About Us
Bentwood Texas is a 14-acre wedding and event venue located on the San Gabriel River in Georgetown. We host weddings, festivals, corporate events, and creative content shoots throughout the year. We are looking for a creative, reliable, and social-media-savvy student to help us grow our online presence and showcase the beauty of the property.
This role is flexible, fun, and perfect for someone who loves content creation, weddings, events, and digital marketing.
⭐ What You’ll Do
- Create engaging weekly content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Film/photograph the venue, weddings (non-private moments only), events, décor, and property
- Edit short videos for Reels/TikTok
- Write captions, schedule posts, and maintain a consistent brand voice
- Build monthly content calendars
- Respond to basic inbox messages and audience engagement
- Share creative ideas for showcasing the venue, lodging, and events
- Track basic analytics (most popular posts, reach, growth)
- Manage daily posting schedules across all social media channels using platforms like Hootsuite and similar.
- Monitor social listening channels to gauge public sentiment and identify trending topics relevant to the brand.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve organic reach.
- Engage with followers through relationship management techniques, responding to comments and messages promptly.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publishing.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing, digital marketing, and emerging platforms.
⭐ What Makes You a Good Fit
- A student or young creative with interest in marketing, communication, digital media, or design
- Comfortable making Reels/TikToks and taking photos
- Good eye for aesthetics — weddings + Texas Hill Country vibes
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Familiar with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Rush, or similar (not required but helpful)
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with vendors, couples, and event guests when needed

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
