Union Board is the governing body of the Indiana Memorial Union and the largest student programming organization on campus. Driven by students, Union Board plans a range of fun, entertaining, and educational events for students to come together, explore multiple world views, discuss current events, and learn from one another.
Union Board Marketing provides students the opportunity to work in a fun and collaborative atmosphere where creative problem-solving leads to the development of effective strategies to build awareness, engagement, and action from IU students and more. All Union Board Marketing staff will contribute to the creation, implementation, and assessment of various marketing and communications initiatives.
Job Summary
The Photographers/Videographer is someone with a creative eye and a flexible schedule, willing to work some evenings and weekends. They will cover everything from major university events, concerts and lectures, marketing campaign shoots, and many other Union Board programs. After capturing UB events, the Photographers/Videographer will be the one to edit pictures, videos, and short form content (ex. TikToks, Instagram Reels etc.), finalizing them to the highest standards.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
