Job Description:

XWound is seeking a skilled and compassionate surgeon with experience in wound care and debridement to join our growing clinical team. This is a part-time opportunity ideal for surgeons looking to supplement their schedule with flexible hours and focused procedures.

You will provide debridement services for chronic and acute wounds, either at patients' homes or in outpatient settings. Cases are pre-screened and well-organized by our clinical coordination team.

Responsibilities:

Perform sharp, enzymatic, or autolytic debridement procedures as clinically appropriate.
Evaluate wounds and contribute to treatment planning.
Coordinate with nurse practitioners and other team members.
Document all procedures and wound progression in compliance with medical standards.

Qualifications:

MD or DO with a valid and unrestricted medical license.
Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, or similar specialty.
Experience in wound care or post-acute settings preferred.
Willingness to travel locally (mileage reimbursement available).
Excellent bedside manner and documentation skills.
