We are looking for part-time tutors who can teach for Elementary, Middle, or High School Students (Small group or Private tutor). When it comes to part time, we provide very consistent and flexible scheduling (In-Person & Online). We may discuss the terms of your payment. Exceptional curricular materials and initial training will be provided. You may choose teaching areas and levels (Private & small groups).

• Science: Bio/AP Bio, Chemistry/AP Chem, Physics/AP Physics, AP Environmental Science
• Math: AP Statistics/AP Calc, SAT/ ACT Math, Alg1, Geometry, Alg2, Precalc
• English/ Writing: Elementary, Middle School, High School up to SAT/ACT & AP English
• Book Club/ Debate
• Social Studies: Middle school, High School up to AP World/ AP Euro/ AP US History/ AP Gov & AP Econ
• Coding & AP Computer Science
• College application and essay
• Middle School: Guide students through their homework/tests/quizzes

Candidates will provide subject knowledge to students while also helping them develop their study skills. The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching with an ability to create a relationship of mutual trust with students. Candidates must possess knowhow to organize a class and make learning an easy experience for students. The goal is to help cultivate students’ interest in education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive lessons and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instructions to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)

Skills

• Proven experience as a teacher is a plus
• Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree in teaching or in a specialized subject with a certificate in education is a plus

Qualification

• Prior teaching or education-related professional experience is a big plus
• Willingness to commit for 1+ year of employment
