Responsibilities

- Provide individualized support for students, including those with special education needs and early intervention requirements.

- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to evaluate student performance and inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Skills
- Strong experience with children, particularly in early childhood education settings.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development principles.
- Experience working with students in various capacities, including tutoring, daycare, or private school environments.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or teaching physical education is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those requiring special education services.
- A solid understanding of literacy education strategies as well as math concepts for young learners.
