TITLE: Partnership Operation Officer
TEAM/PROGRAMME: Partnership
LOCATION: Country Office
GRADE: 4
CONTRACT LENGTH: 7 Months
CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting the country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:- The Partnerships Operation Officer is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient implementation of partnership management cycle including partners identification, Joint Partnership Assessment (JPA)and developing and implementing the CO partners capacity strengthening interventions covering different aspects such as but not limited to ; finance, Supply chain, HR, governance, safeguarding admin and procurement units. S/he will be responsible for implementing daily tasks to ensure that the partnership strategy is being implemented to meet the CO objectives with consistency with SCI’s related policies and procedures.
- The position holder will support partnership department to ensure the application of localization strategy and equitable partnership approach including training and support to field offices teams. The role holder will coordinate cross functions departments including Program Operations, Finance, MEAL, Awards, Supply Chain, and Technical Advisors to ensure partners are adequately identified and supported
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Partnership Senior Manager

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:Equitable partnership management Cycle Implementation- Work closely with the partnership senior manager with cooperation with Areas and field managers develop the partners identification ensuring new geographic locations and across SC’s thematic areas,
- Support partnership senior manager in finalizing and updating the CO engagement plan including NGO, public and private sector actors and research centers, universities
- Lead on rolling out the equitable partnership approach to field office teams
- Effectively participate in the application of Joint Partnership Assessment process
- Regularly meeting the partners to ensure that the partnership relation is on track and align with SCI partnership principles
- Organize the capacity building training workshops, cross visits etc.
- Actively organize the partners collective events.
- Conduct any other relevant tasks requested by the Partnership Manager.
Partners Capacity strengthening
Review the CO partners capacity gaps based on the result of the Joint Partnership
- Assessment process and partners’ dialogue
- Support the partnership senior manager in developing CO partners capacities strengthening process with cooperation across functions teams .
- Organize follow up the partner capacity strengthening interventions to ensure that it meets the identified gaps
- Conduct a regular field visit to partners to ensure the application of the provided training and support
- Conduct regular meeting and discussions with project manager to update partner needed support
- Organize and coordinate the new partners deep inductions
- Participate in designing the training consultant TOR
- Supervise the consultant contracting process under the leadership of the partnership manager,
- Conduct the consultant evaluation and develop the satisfactory report
- 2. Coordination
- Coordinate with New Business Development (NBD) to ensure the partners participation in new opportunities project designs
- Coordinate with NBD and support partners during their proposal development
- Coordinate and follow up with project manager and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of provided support to partners
- Coordinate with cross function to ensure effective management of JPA and partners capacity strengthening3-
3-Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and accountability (MEAL)
o Review and update the partnership tracker
o Follow up on the partners participation in SCI global annual surveys and coordinate the annual partners events to ensure that partners voice is heard and lessons learned are presented and shared
4-afeguarding- Behave towards children and adults in a way which reflects the Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Policy.
- Support partners in the implementation of child safeguarding policy within the program cycle; including identifying and addressing risks to children that are caused/exacerbated by program design and intervention.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in education /relevant Social Science field or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s level degree in a relevant subject (Business Administration, PR or equivalent field experience).
- From 3 to 5 Past experience with partners and civil society
- Good knowledge of computer programs (Excel, Spreadsheets, accounting programs, etc).
- Flexibility, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and set priorities;
- Good knowledge of child safeguarding will be an added advantage; and Commitment to Save the Children
- Knowledge on localization and locally led interventions is preferred
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSEssential- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. (Essential)
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, attention to details and the ability to manage time and prioritize (Essential)
- Working under pressure.(Desired)
- Excellent language skills in both English and Arabic (written and verbal) is required.
