Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire Parts Department, ensuring strong operational performance and profitability
- Oversee inventory control including stocking levels, obsolescence control, returns, and cycle counts
- Ensure accurate and efficient parts ordering, with emphasis on ordering the correct parts the first time
- Maintain and improve gross profit performance, including pricing strategy and vendor purchasing decisions
- Ensure full compliance with manufacturer requirements, processes, and audits
- Manage Parts staff: hiring, training, coaching, and performance accountability
- Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage and productivity
- Support strong internal and external customer service (technicians, service advisors, retail/wholesale customers)
- Monitor and improve KPIs such as: fill rate, order accuracy, inventory turns, return reserve, and gross profit
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Parts Management experience (automotive dealership preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OEM parts systems and ordering processes
- Proven ability to drive profitability and manage gross profit performance
- Strong leadership, scheduling, and accountability skills
- Excellent communication and customer service mindset
- Highly organized and process-driven
Compensation & Benefits
- $6,000 – $10,000 per month, based on department gross profit performance
