Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the fine jewelry team to achieve sales targets through effective coaching, training, and development.
  • Manage inventory control, including purchasing, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize visual appeal and product availability.
  • Oversee all aspects of store operations such as cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews, and ongoing training to build a knowledgeable and customer-focused team.
  • Implement sales strategies by leveraging retail math skills, pricing techniques, and marketing initiatives to enhance store performance.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing client inquiries with professionalism and personalized attention.
  • Supervise shift management duties including scheduling, supervising staff performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors, manage purchasing processes, and oversee jewelry repairs or special orders.
  • Uphold organizational standards by managing payroll records, bookkeeping tasks, and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
  • Foster a positive work environment through leadership in employee orientation, team management, and conflict resolution.

Skills

  • Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within jewelry or luxury retail environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to engage clients and negotiate sales effectively.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems (POS), merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and retail math.
  • Demonstrated leadership in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and supervising teams.
  • Skilled in cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, and store administrative tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities such as stock control, marketing initiatives, and customer service standards.
  • Experience in marketing strategies specific to jewelry retail including visual merchandising and promotional campaigns.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for customer service excellence and building lasting client relationships.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of store operations.
