Parts Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to oversee our parts department in a busy automotive garage. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the UAE automotive market, with strong knowledge of local suppliers, parts procurement, inventory control, and workshop coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control the parts inventory to ensure optimum stock levels.
  • Order automotive parts and accessories from local and international suppliers.
  • Identify parts using parts catalogs, software, or direct supplier coordination.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts to the service department.
  • Monitor parts usage, demand, and aging stock to minimize overstock and shortages.
  • Develop relationships with vendors to secure the best pricing and delivery terms.
  • Supervise and train parts staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
  • Implement and follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Support workshop technicians with accurate and timely parts identification.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department for supplier payments and returns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Parts Manager in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE automotive market and parts suppliers.
  • Familiarity with automotive software (e.g., AutoLine, Kerridge, SAP, etc.).
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages is a plus.

Education:

  • Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
