Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the parts department
  • Responsible for the operations, personnel, marketing and profitability of the department
  • Train and manage parts department staff
  • Maintain inventory control and order parts as needed
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory audits
  • Work closely with service advisors and technicians to ensure parts availability
  • Oversee parts returns, warranties, and core returns
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing when necessary
  • Track and analyze department performance metrics
  • Provide excellent customer service to retail and wholesale parts customers

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role within an automotive dealership is preferred
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of dealership software systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Maintain stellar attendance
  • Professional dress and hygiene
  • Valid driver’s license
