Pay Range: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with occasional overtime)

Onsite: 180 W. 900 N. Springville, UT 84663

Job Summary

REV6 Engine & Parts are seeking a full-time experienced Purchaser in their busy engine parts department. The Purchaser is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels, negotiating with vendors to secure competitive pricing, and ensuring that all parts are accurately labeled, located, and replenished. This position supports a lean, 5S-oriented environment and works closely with receiving, stocking, and operations to ensure a smooth flow of materials and product availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain organized and 5S-compliant shelving areas; ensure parts are clearly labeled and correctly stored.
• Routinely walk aisles and review shelf quantities to identify low-stock or missing items.
• Create and update bin locations for new parts and maintain location accuracy in the system.
• Communicate with vendors daily to negotiate pricing, confirm lead times, and track order status.
• Place purchase orders based on reorder levels, sales forecasts, or departmental requests.
• Verify incoming shipments match purchase orders and coordinate with Receiving for any discrepancies.
• Assist in identifying obsolete or slow-moving parts and work with management to adjust inventory.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain clear communication between Purchasing, Stocking, and Management teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of purchasing or inventory control experience required.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors.
• Basic computer skills (Fishbowl, Excel, email).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout warehouse shelves as needed.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Commitment to 5S, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
