PARTS SALES SPECIALIST
The Parts Department is an integral piece to the success of the business and customer experience at Bane-Welker. A Parts Sales Specialist is responsible for assisting customers in making the best parts and accessories buying decisions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory organization and support. The Parts Sales Specialist will also charge out merchandise, distribute special parts orders, receive warranty parts, and maintain the shelf stock.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Produce parts and accessories sales that meet Bane-Welker's established sales and gross margin objectives and satisfy both internal and external customer needs.
- Finalize parts and accessories transactions by properly closing each sale, including through the use of suggestive selling of parts and accessories that benefit the customer.
- Successfully identify and fulfill customer needs and desires by helping them select the best parts and/or accessories solution.
- Promptly and professionally greet customers when they enter the facility and when they call.
- Self-educate on the features and benefits of parts and accessories products and actively seek out ways to increase selling capabilities.
- Effectively assist the customer in making the best parts and accessories buying decisions to maintain high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain a current knowledge base of parts and accessories to stay current on legal, safety and recall information to protect all parties.
- Follow up with external and internal customers in a timely manner.
- Accurately account for all incoming and outgoing parts and accessories.
- Professionally participate in the maintenance and selection of parts and accessories in order to maintain an accurate, profitable and desirable inventory that meets customer needs.
- Perform physical cycle counts on a regular basis and assist in identifying the best inventory mix of parts and accessories.
- Properly demonstrate the use of parts and accessories.
- Maintain clean, well-stocked and attractive merchandise displays.
- Utilize Bane- Welker programs and promotions effectively to deepen customer relationships.
Requirements of Position:
- Must have a customer focused and “be of service” attitude.
- Demonstrate organizational ability and systematic timing.
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, and parts used in the repair of agricultural equipment.
- Ability to demonstrate the guiding principles of Bane-Welker.
- Must be familiar with the dealer’s line of equipment.
- Ability to maintain customer relationships and cultivate new customers for future growth.
