Automotive Service Advisor / Writer

Automotive Service Advisor – Randash Auto Center, Bozeman MT

Pay: $19–$23 per hour DOE plus bonus opportunities
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Randash Auto Center in Bozeman is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. This role connects customers and technicians to ensure clear communication, accurate billing, and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and close work orders with accurate parts and labor billing
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle status, timelines, and approvals
• Prepare and present estimates for service and maintenance
• Recommend additional maintenance or protection services when appropriate
• Maintain parts and supply inventory
• Coordinate with technicians, warranty, and collections for workflow efficiency
• Follow all procedures for cash handling, documentation, and compliance

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a service advisor, service writer, or in parts
• Working knowledge of DealerCenter, Frazer, ShopMonkey, or similar software
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and service schedules
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Certifications
ASE C1 – Service Consultant certification encouraged (or willingness to pursue)

Physical Requirements
Able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform regular standing, walking, and vehicle movement

Service Manager and Area Manager
