Parts Specialist

Wheeler Machinery Co. is hiring a full-time Parts Specialist for the Salt Lake City location, working night shift hours from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. This role involves loading and unloading parts for customers and technicians, supporting PUDO and Parts Express operations, handling returns and customer pick-up/drop-off of parts and components, performing core inspections, processing warranties, and managing shipping and receiving tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safety will be the applicant’s top priority.
  • Must be familiar with and participate in CPS/CI process.
  • Must be process driven/detail oriented.
  • This is an intermediate customer facing role in the parts department.
  • This is not part of the warehouse trainee program
  • Required to be proficient in all warehouse journeyman duties while being able to show ownership to any task assigned.
  • Parts specialist duties include but not limited to:
  • Core inspection
  • Loading and unloading of customers and technicians
  • Warranty processing
  • Hose Room
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Credits
  • Returns and customer parts/component pick-up and drop off
  • As well as all other journeyman warehouse function
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
