Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Heavy Construction Equipment Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, coordinate procurement, and support land clearing or recycling operations through efficient parts management. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and excellent customer service abilities to ensure seamless supply chain operations and support our equipment service teams.
Duties
- Manage inventory levels using ERP systems and order management systems to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers for procurement, sourcing, and negotiation to secure quality parts at competitive prices.
- Oversee shipping & receiving processes, including warehouse management and logistics coordination.
- Assist with diagnostics, equipment repair, and OEM parts sourcing as needed.
- Ability to read and identify parts from OEM equipment manuals and Pdf drawings
- Maintain accurate data entry related to inventory control, demand planning, and pricing updates.
- Support warehouse operations including forklift operation, shipping & receiving, and warehouse experience tasks.
- Utilize Quickbooks Online & Full Bay systems for maintenance scheduling and inventory tracking.
- Utilize OEM system portals for parts lookup and ordering.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers and our internal teams requiring parts assistance.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement management, and inventory management principles.
- Experience with ERP systems, order management systems, and data entry accuracy.
- Mechanical knowledge related to diagnostics, equipment repair, hydraulic systems , and forestry mulching is preferred.
- Proficiency in negotiation, sourcing, demand planning, and pricing strategies.
- Warehouse management skills including forklift operation and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Familiarity with equipment repair processes, OEM parts sourcing, and dealership experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with logistics coordination and procurement processes within manufacturing or auto service environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
