Summary

As a Parts Specialist at Ware Disposal, Inc., you will be instrumental in managing the supply chain and inventory for our operations. Located in a dynamic environment, this role is vital to ensuring that our teams have the necessary parts and supplies to maintain efficiency and uphold our commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies to ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts in a timely manner.
• Utilize inventory control systems to track stock levels and reorder points.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts availability.
• Assist in the organization of the warehouse and ensure proper storage of parts.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify parts needs for repairs and servicing.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory transactions, and supplier communications.
• Support demand planning efforts by analyzing usage trends and forecasting needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain management or inventory control, preferably in a related industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on meeting client needs effectively.
• Familiarity with inventory management software; experience with AS400 is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of automotive repair processes is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience in demand planning or supply chain analysis is advantageous.
