Part‑Time Event Host

Overview

Join The Tracks as a part‑time Event Host running fun, high‑energy “Race Nights” at bars around LA. This role is very similar to hosting trivia or other theme nights — you’ll engage guests, explain how the event works, and keep the energy up. Easy, social, and a great side hustle.

Pay & Schedule

- $30/hour

- 4 hours per shift (approx. 7:00 PM–11:00 PM)

- Primarily Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays

- Part‑time, ongoing shifts

Key Responsibilities

- Host Racing‑themed nights in bar settings (similar duties to trivia or theme‑night hosts)

- Clearly explain game rules and procedures to guests

- Provide enthusiastic commentary and crowd engagement to maintain energy

- Light setup and teardown of event materials

- Travel between local venues as scheduled

Who You Are

- At least 21 years old (must be able to work inside bars)

- Energetic, outgoing, enthusiastic, and talkative

- Comfortable performing in front of crowds and keeping a crowd engaged

- Reliable, punctual, and professional

- Own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (will travel to multiple bar locations in LA)

- Able to lift one somewhat heavy item (~25–30 lbs)
