Job Description

Vortexen Dynamics Industrial Solution is looking for an experienced Passive Fire Protection Site Supervisor to manage and supervise site activities related to fire stopping, fireproofing, fire-rated coating, penetration sealing, joint sealing, and other passive fire protection works.

The candidate must be capable of handling site teams, coordinating with clients and consultants, ensuring quality workmanship, and completing works as per approved systems, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Passive Fire Protection site activities
• Manage fire stopping, fireproofing, coating, proofing, and sealing works
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, main contractors, and client representatives
• Read and understand project drawings, specifications, and approved material submittals
• Ensure works are carried out as per approved method statements and manufacturer guidelines
• Allocate manpower and monitor daily productivity
• Maintain site progress reports, inspection records, and work completion reports
• Coordinate material requirements and site logistics
• Ensure proper surface preparation and application procedures
• Monitor quality of installation and rectify site comments immediately
• Support QA/QC inspection and consultant/client approvals
• Ensure site safety compliance and proper PPE usage
• Manage workers, technicians, and subcontract teams at site
• Report daily progress, issues, delays, and material requirements to management

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in Passive Fire Protection works
• Experience in fire stopping, fireproofing, intumescent coating, cementitious coating, sealants, boards, collars, wraps, and penetration sealing preferred
• UAE experience will be an advantage
• Oil & Gas, industrial, marine, power plant, or commercial project experience preferred
• Knowledge of Civil Defence, UL/FM approved systems, and project inspection procedures will be an advantage

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Leadership and manpower control skills

Preferred Candidate

• Civil / Mechanical / Fire Protection background preferred
• UAE driving licence will be an advantage
• Immediate joiners preferred
• Candidates with ADNOC / Oil & Gas site experience will be given priority
