Job Description:
Oliv Eatery and Bakery is seeking a passionate and skilled Pasta Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian cuisine, particularly in preparing, cooking, and presenting various pasta dishes. The Pasta Chef will be responsible for creating authentic, flavorful pasta recipes, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of traditional and innovative pasta dishes.
• Ensure all dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
• Manage pasta station, including ingredient prep, cooking, and plating.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pasta station.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Assist with menu development and specials related to pasta dishes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pasta Chef or Sous Chef with a focus on Italian cuisine.
• Knowledge of different pasta types, sauces, and cooking techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Culinary certification or relevant training preferred.
