Observing and supporting teachers to enhance instructional practices for SOD students and behavior plan students and provide guidance, feedback, and coaching.
Following up on student behavior, addressing issues in coordination with teachers and ensuring that school policies and expectations are consistently applied.
Upholding school policies and academic standards, ensuring compliance in both instructional and behavioral practices.
Modeling professional conduct and leadership, serving as a role model for teachers and students in areas such as accountability, respect, and school culture.
Student Well-being & Behavior
Behavioral Incidents
Reduce the number and severity of negative behavioral incidents by fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment. Track incident trends over time and address underlying causes.
Positive Behavior Reinforcement
Increase the use of praise, recognition, and rewards to encourage positive student behavior. Promote a culture where students feel valued and motivated to maintain good conduct.
Student Referrals to Counseling/Support
Provide timely and effective support for students with academic, social, or emotional challenges. Monitor the number of referrals and ensure interventions result in improved student well-being.
Student Attendance & Punctuality
Ensure daily student attendance is accurately recorded and monitor adherence to the school uniform policy, addressing any concerns with students and parents.
Parental Engagement
Parent Communication Response Rate
Strengthen communication channels between school and parents. Improve response rates to emails, surveys, and announcements to ensure active parent-school collaboration.
Parent Meeting Attendance
Increase parent participation in school meetings, workshops, and events. Encourage parents to engage in their child’s learning and development by creating welcoming, flexible opportunities for involvement.
Staff Collaboration
1. Teacher Feedback on Pastoral Support
Encourage teachers to provide feedback on pastoral systems to ensure support strategies are effective. Adapt based on teacher insights to better meet student needs.
2. Staff Training Delivery
Ensure continuous professional development for staff in areas such as safeguarding, behavior management, and student well-being. Track attendance, application of skills, and impact on classroom practice.
Student Development & Safeguarding
1. Safeguarding Compliance
Guarantee that safeguarding policies and procedures are consistently followed across the school. Regularly audit compliance and provide refresher training to maintain a safe learning environment.
2 . Improvement in Targeted Students
Focus support on students identified as needing additional academic, social, or emotional help. Track individual progress through measurable outcomes, such as improved attendance, grades, or behavior.
