Pastry Chef

As a Pastry Chef you are responsible for the daily pastry preparation and related duties, ensuring high standards and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the pastry and bakery kitchen section.
  • Create high quality and creative pastry products to satisfy customers.
  • Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
  • Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation, staying updated on new pastry recipes and techniques.
  • Instruct and lead subordinates in food preparation, and actively participate in pastry setup for buffets and special functions.
  • Coordinate and participate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
  • Consult on daily pastry requirements, functions, and last minute events.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene within the pastry kitchen.
