Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the pastry and bakery kitchen section.
- Create high quality and creative pastry products to satisfy customers.
- Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
- Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation, staying updated on new pastry recipes and techniques.
- Instruct and lead subordinates in food preparation, and actively participate in pastry setup for buffets and special functions.
- Coordinate and participate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
- Consult on daily pastry requirements, functions, and last minute events.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene within the pastry kitchen.
