Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry CDP to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity, a strong eye for detail, and a deep understanding of pastry techniques. You will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a wide range of desserts, pastries, and breads that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, bake, and finish a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked goods.
  • Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation according to recipes and brand standards.
  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in menu development, seasonal updates, and special creations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the pastry section.
  • Manage ingredient stock levels, control waste, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Train and support junior pastry staff and apprentices when required.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and workstations in clean and good working condition.
