Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, bake, and decorate a wide variety of desserts and pastry items following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain mise en place and ensure consistency in quality, taste, and visual appeal of all pastry products.
  • Assist in menu creation and contribute innovative ideas for new desserts and seasonal offerings.
  • Supervise and train junior pastry staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Monitor food stock levels, report shortages, and support inventory and ordering processes.
  • Uphold HACCP and resort sanitation procedures, ensuring the pastry kitchen meets audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely and accurate pastry production for outlets, banquets, and special events.
