We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Pastry Commis 3 to join our dynamic pastry team.

Position Summary
The Pastry Commis 3 plays a supporting role in the preparation and execution of our signature Asian-inspired desserts. This entry-level position is ideal for aspiring pastry chefs who are enthusiastic about learning and working in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of Asian-inspired desserts including steamed buns, mochi, flavored custards, layered cakes, and plated desserts
• Follow precise recipes and maintain consistent taste, texture, and presentation
• Support daily mise en place and dessert station prep
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the pastry section
• Assist in plating desserts during service hours
• Work closely with senior pastry chefs to learn advanced techniques
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met

What We’re Looking For

• Culinary diploma or equivalent experience in pastry or baking (Asian pastry knowledge is a plus)
• Passion for Asian cuisine and dessert trends (matcha, black sesame, yuzu, red bean, etc.)
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong team spirit
• Ability to follow instructions and remain organized under pressure
• Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and holidays
• Valid food safety certification preferred
