Pastry Helper

Bird Cafe is looking for a motivated and hardworking Pastry Assistant to support our bakery and pastry production team. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of cakes, cookies, desserts, and other baked products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of cakes, cookies, pastries, and other baked goods.
• Prepare ingredients, measure recipes, and organize materials for daily production.
• Support mixing, baking, decorating, and finishing products as directed by the Pastry Chef or Baker.
• Help with packaging and presentation of finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards at all times.
• Assist in stock organization and inventory management.
• Support the team in meeting daily production targets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, or food production environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of baking and pastry preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good hygiene and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
