Patent Agent – Electrical/Software/Computer Science (Hybrid)
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications in the U.S. and internationally.
• Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and prior art searches.
• Collaborate with attorneys, inventors, and clients on patent strategy.
• Assist in managing domestic and foreign patent portfolios.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, particularly in AI, machine learning, and software innovations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
USPTO Registration (required).
2+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
Strong technical background in electrical, software, or computer-related technologies.
Experience with AI and machine learning technologies (preferred).
Excellent academic credentials with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a client-focused, team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
