Reporting to the Director of Patient Financial Services, this position is responsible for accurate insurance and self-pay billing, and follow-up .

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li>
<li>One year of current hospital collection/billing experience preferred.</li>
<li>Computer skills preferred.</li>
</ul>
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: 
<ul>
<li>None.</li>
</ul>

Ensuring patients are billed correctly and insurance claims are processed efficiently, the Patient Account Representative works closely with both healthcare staff and insurance companies to resolve account issues. Their efforts contribute directly to smooth financial operations and help ease the patient billing experience.
