Patient Accounts & Insurance Facilitator - Dermatology and Primary Care Medical Office

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Patient Accounts & Insurance Facilitator to join our close-knit administrative team in a busy and respected dermatology and primary care medical practice. This is a remote position ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, clear communication, knows how to provide excellent customer service, and consistent follow-through. The right candidate is looking for a long-term role and will take full ownership of all patient accounts responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
• Experience handling patient billing questions, payment plans, and collection processes
• Familiarity with commercial insurance plans
• Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple patient accounts and follow up consistently
• Ability to confidently and professionally discuss financial responsibility with patients
• Experience sending medical records and handling patient information in a HIPAA- compliant manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
• Respectfully collaborates with the administrative team and providers to ensure smooth billing and accounting operations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Work Schedule: Monday Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays (full days)

Compensation:

• Starts at $22.00 for the first three months
