Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and verify their appointment details to ensure accurate scheduling and check-in procedures
• Manage patient records with precision, updating information and maintaining confidentiality at all times
• Coordinate appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently across multiple providers
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance requirements, and follow-up instructions
• Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as processing referrals, verifying insurance coverage, and preparing documentation
• Collaborate closely with medical staff to facilitate patient flow and ensure timely care delivery
• Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and office procedures to support clinical staff effectively

Experience

• Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation practices
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a busy office environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Office experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR), or practice management systems is advantageous
• Knowledge of dental office procedures is a plus but not required
