Job Summary
We are a top plastic surgery provider seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator specializing in plastic surgery to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through their surgical journey with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your energetic approach will ensure a smooth, positive experience for every patient, from initial consultation to post-operative follow-up. Your expertise in medical terminology and administrative support will help streamline operations and foster a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and coordinate their appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling that maximizes clinic flow
  • Provide comprehensive pre-operative information, answering questions about procedures, preparations, and recovery expectations
  • Maintain accurate patient records using medical office software, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
  • Assist with insurance verification, billing processes, and collection of necessary documentation for surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to facilitate seamless communication and patient care continuity
  • Follow up with patients post-surgery to monitor recovery progress and address any concerns promptly
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with a positive attitude, providing clear information about services offered

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a medical office environment, preferably within plastic or dental surgery settings
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in medical administrative support tools such as electronic health records (EHR) systems and scheduling software
  • Exceptional communication skills—empathetic listening and clear articulation are essential
  • Prior experience in dental office or similar healthcare settings is a plus
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while managing sensitive patient information
  • Bilingual highly desired

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
