It’s Time to Get Better at Piedmont! Join us at Piedmont as we continue to grow! We are a 32 bed Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit with Hospitalists /APPs 24/7. Also included in our staff mix are Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care Technicians. Typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:5/1:6 3 South 32 Beds • Management of drips o Bumex, Heparin, Lasix • Telemetry Monitoring • Management of High-Flow • Management of Respiratory Disorders • Manual Proning • Care of adult patients having various medical diseases and disorders • Peritoneal Dialysis Management

Responsibilities: The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred

Work Experience

• No experience required
• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
