PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN - MED SURG & PEDS LEVEL 3

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
- Job Summary:
  - To work with the RN Partner to provide basic care to the Medical Surgical patient.
- Education:
  - Position requires a high school diploma or GED or 0- 6 months equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.
- Registration/Certification/Licensure:
  - C.N.A - State
  - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience:
  - Position requires 0-6 months related experience.
- Other Requirements:
  - Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
  - Successful completion of Phlebotomy training, EKG training.
  - Successful completion of Patient Care Technician Orientation.
  - Maintain untit specific and hospital competencies in accordance with policy requirements

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, 0645-1915
