Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Care Technician you will be a crucial member of our collaborative nursing care team, delivering hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care like dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts
• With no hospital-based experience, must be able to attend the PCT Essentials Orientation (M-F 8a – 5pm first 2 weeks of employment) beginning May 2026
• SCHEDULE: FULL-TIME/NIGHTS: 6:45p-7:15a; 3 12-hr shifts with rotating weekends

What qualifications you will need:

• A minimum of a High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting, Preferred.
• Kansas Certified Nursing Assistant License required or completion of the HCA Patient Care Tech Essentials training.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.
• With no hospital-based experience, must be able to attend the PCT Essentials training (M-F 8a – 5pm first 2 weeks of employment) beginning MAY 2026.
