Job Summary:

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for our 2A Admissions unit located within the Edgewood Hospital.

Shift/Hours: Full Time - 7A-7P/36 hours weekly

The Patient Care Technician will provide direct and indirect patient care to support a unit or facility as directed by a Registered Nurse (RN). Support responsibilities may include facilitation of patient safety and environmental support activities.

Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

  • High school Diploma / GED

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Ability to perform such tasks as vital signs
  • Demonstrates knowledge of body mechanics
  • General computer skills and applications

Kind and Length of Experience:

  • Customer service experience

FLSA Status:

Non-Exempt
