BayCare is looking for Patient Care Techs/Certified Nursing Assistants/CNAs to join our team!

Patient Care Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant positions are available with Mease Dunedin Hospital in Dunedin, FL. Position details:

Facility: Mease Dunedin Hospital
Location: Dunedin, FL
Shift: Full time hours are 3 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
Shift: Part time hours are 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
Shift: Day shifts 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Shift: Night shifts 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Patient Care Tech/ Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities and skills:

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED minimum
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• A minimum of one of the following:
• • 6 months of PCT/CNA acute care experience, or
  • 1 year of PCT/CNA experience in a skilled nursing or rehab facility, or
  • Completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN) or Nursing Foundations (LPN) Programs, or
  • Completion of a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of an external clinical component, or
  • Successful completion of a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT internship, or
  • EMT certification/Paramedic license for ER only
