Job Description:

PsychPlus is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Patient Scheduling Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone experienced in managing high inbound call volumes and passionate about supporting patients through efficient and empathetic scheduling processes.

As a key part of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless coordination between patients and healthcare providers, contributing directly to improved access to mental healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of inbound calls and schedule patient appointments accurately
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams to optimize scheduling workflows
• Maintain and update patient records within EHR/EMR systems
• Ensure a high level of professionalism and patient care during all interactions
• Handle rescheduling, cancellations, and follow-ups efficiently
• Meet daily performance and scheduling targets

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience handling high inbound call volumes
• Prior experience in appointment scheduling or healthcare coordination
• Background in mental health or behavioral health (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with EHR/EMR systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working on-site on a night shift
