Patient Service Representative

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Preferred to have Knowledge of EPIC but other EMR system experience will be accepted.
*Prior authorizations.
*Insurance Verification experience.
*Candidates should have at least 6-12 months experience with a call center environment and this role could include outbound and inbound calls. There are call quality metrics for them to adhere to in the role.

JOB DUTIES:
*Responsible for managing prior authorizations for medications and procedures.
*Coordinating and processing internal and external patient referrals.
*Monitoring and managing EMR Work queues and in-basket messages.
*Answering incoming calls and providing clear assistance.
*Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments.
*Verifying insurance coverage and patient demographics.
*Maintaining accurate documentation in patient charts, scanning in patient documents, faxing and keeping clear communication between provider and staff.

Please note that our office specializes in Internal medicine, Family Medicine and Sleep medicine for 12 providers.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
