Patient Service Representative

We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join our Story Medical Clinics team.

In this role, you will be the welcoming face for our patients and an essential part of creating a positive healthcare experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

What You’ll Do

As a Patient Services Representative, you will provide medical reception and clerical support to ensure smooth clinic operations. You will assist patients with registration, maintain accurate patient information, and serve as a key communication link between patients and clinic staff — all while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a timely and professional manner

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls

• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information

• Maintain and organize patient medical records (electronic and paper)

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments

• Coordinate patient flow and communicate with providers and clinic staff

• Perform clinic opening and closing duties

• Provide cross-coverage and support across clinic areas as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training within 30 days of hire

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Basic knowledge of medical office practices and procedures

• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Previous medical administrative or healthcare office experience

Compensation & Employment Details

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | 7:30am–4:30pm
Salary Range: $15.90 – $23.85 per hour (commensurate with experience)
