Novant Health Arboretum Pediatrics 51 is seeking a full-time Patient Services Coordinator Lead!
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, 1 Saturday shift each month 8:00am-12:00pm
Responsible for timely and accurate recording of patient demographics, insurance information, patient charges and collections. Scheduling patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner. Cross-training required in multiple administrative support functions.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

Experience: Minimum of three years of clerical experience in medical office setting, required.
- Other related experience may be considered in lieu of medical office experience.

Additional Skills Required: Knowledge of medical office software for the following: updating patient demographic information, posting charges, copays, and scheduling patient appointments. Requires understanding of CPT and ICD10-CM coding processes. Requires excellent verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with changing priorities. Requires excellent organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must be able to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to function as part of a team. Must possess initiative. Basic medical terminology required, knowledge can be obtained through formal classes or work experience.

Manage front office operations, including patient check‑in and check‑out processes to ensure a smooth patient experience

Schedule patient appointments and monitor/manage the scheduling in‑basket to maintain efficient clinic flow

Oversee and manage front office team schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage and coordination

Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient needs, scheduling changes, and care updates

Handle incoming and outgoing calls using the Genesys phone system and provide accurate information to patients

Work and resolve assigned workqueues in a timely and professional manner
