Position Overview

We are seeking a Pharmacy Intake Coordinator to join our team in a hybrid role. This position plays a key role in supporting patients through the intake and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

We are looking for someone who is bilingual (English/Spanish), comfortable interacting with patients, and confident using software systems. Experience in healthcare settings is preferred, but we welcome candidates from all backgrounds who are eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing patients
• Handle patient intake, including collecting and verifying information
• Communicate with patients via phone, text, and online systems
• Coordinate with pharmacists, providers, and internal teams
• Enter and manage patient data accurately in pharmacy systems
• Assist with insurance verification and documentation (if applicable)
• Provide excellent customer service and support

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience in patient-facing roles such as:
• Medical Assistant
• Pharmacy Technician or Cashier
• Intake Coordinator
• Customer service in healthcare
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using computers, Clinical systems. and digital tools
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with pharmacy or medical software systems
• Knowledge of insurance verification or prior authorizations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.42 - $19.26 per hour
