Job Title: Patient Support Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Patient Support Specialist to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting both patients and internal staff by ensuring accurate account management, clear communication, and a smooth financial experience throughout the care process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patient account inquiries, providing clear and compassionate support
- Review and maintain patient account balances, including assisting with resolution of outstanding balances
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits prior to patient visits
- Proactively monitor and resolve insurance claim issues, including follow-up on delayed or denied claims
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing processes
- Prepare daily schedules by identifying patient financial responsibilities, including copays and outstanding balances, and documenting relevant notes for staff awareness
- Maintain accurate and organized records in compliance with company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration, medical billing, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance processes, eligibility verification, and claims management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on open items

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
