Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients between various locations ensuring comfort and security throughout the journey
• Maintain clear communication with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transports efficiently
• Complete documentation related to patient transport activities accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Prior experience in patient transport
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care with a focus on safety and comfort
• Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and maneuver equipment or patients
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with healthcare teams and assist patients empathetically
