Major Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers.

• Assist patients entering and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair or mobility support as needed.

• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices properly to ensure passenger safety.

• Maintain a courteous, professional, and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

• Follow assigned routes and schedules while adjusting for traffic or weather conditions.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the transport vehicle in compliance with healthcare safety standards.

• Complete accurate trip logs, mileage records, and required documentation.

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company confidentiality policies.

• Follow all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age.

• Must be a licensed CNA

• High School diploma or GED.

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Previous experience in healthcare transportation or customer service preferred.

• Ability to lift and assist patients (as required).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.

• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.

• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.

• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.
