Patient Transport Driver * San Luis Obispo Lead*

We are currently looking for a friendly, responsible, motivated individual to fill our Lead position in San Luis Obispo - Mon- Fri, 9 AM TO 5 PM

Provide direct patient transportation assistance from local hospitals to home or other facilities. Local and Long-distance.

Experience Needed: None – We Provide Hands-On Training!
License Required: Valid Driver’s License for at least the past 3 years – Clean Driving Record
Company Vehicles Provided – No Personal Vehicle Needed for the Job

Care Connection Transport Services is looking for professional and caring individuals to join our growing team. We specialize in wheelchair and gurney transport for clients throughout the Central Coast and are seeking team members who will ensure each ride is provided with dignity, respect, and safety.

Duties:

• Safely transport clients in company-provided wheelchair-accessible vans
• Escort and assist clients in and out of vehicles
• Ensure a clean and secure environment during transport
• Provide friendly, professional service with a focus on client care
• Push, load, and secure wheelchair-bound clients safely into the vehicle
• Training for wheelchair securement is provided

Schedule & Training:

• Full-time position 9 AM- 5 PM: Availability to get invovled with the community
• Opportunity to grow
• Hands-on training provided — we’ll train you until you're fully comfortable and confident working independently
• We’re looking for you to bring positive energy and charisma to each interaction—engaging in meaningful conversations, facilitating activities confidently, and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for every client.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License for at least the past 3 years
• No DUIs, accidents, or license suspensions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• No criminal convictions
• Strong reliability and punctuality

Physical Requirements:

• Safely assist and maneuver clients in manual wheelchairs
• Ability to push and load wheelchairs
• Ability to bend, kneel, and move in confined spaces
• Capable of sitting and standing for extended periods
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 lbs
