Job Summary
Provides courteous, safe transport of patients and/or supplies throughout the facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.</li><li>
Maintains a safe and germ free environment for all customers.</li><li>
Documents all patient transports on appropriate departmental log.</li><li>
Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order.</li><li>
Completes assigned goals.</li></ul>
Specifications
Experience
Preferred/Desired<ul><li>
6 months hospital or customer service experience.</li></ul>
Education
Minimum Required<ul><li>
Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience</li></ul>
Preferred/Desired<ul><li>
HS diploma/GED or higher</li></ul></div>
