Patient Transporter

In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients, ensuring a smooth flow of movement for diagnostic procedures, admissions, discharges, transfers, and appointments outside the facility. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for patients and support clinical teams in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients.
• Assist patients with mobility needs, including those with limited movement or special care requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with clinical staff to coordinate patient transfers efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure all transport activities comply with safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Provide compassionate support to patients during transport, offering reassurance and comfort as needed.
• Keep detailed records of patient movements and report any incidents or concerns promptly to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with medical teams and support patient needs.
• Good driving record and the ability to drive long distances as well as operate a 12-passenger van.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
