What You Will Do

• Instruct students at the Air Defense Forces Institute (ADFI) in the design and implementation of defense architecture that enables the employment of Air Defense weapon systems using Contemporary Operating Environment (COE) concepts in airspace management, operations, planning and evaluation.
• Teach RSADF officers how to employ and properly fire the Patriot Weapons System; train RSADF soldiers in the operation and maintenance of the Patriot system.
• Evaluate test results and submit attendance and grade records; review progress of class or students and make recommendations to improve Patriot training quality at ADFI.
• Provide technical instruction and training at the Air Defense Forces Institute (ADFI) using conference and practical exercise teaching methods; topics include Patriot System operations and maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the section officer; participate in training department functions; enforce safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Identify faulty work practices and demonstrate proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques; prepare and submit maintenance reports and Patriot Failure Reports (SPRs).
• Provide technical assistance in maintaining Patriot power generation equipment and communications equipment; assist in missile handling operations as required.
• This position is in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Patriot Master Gunner certification from the US Army Air Defense School.
• Certified Instructor and Trainer.
• Ability to develop training programs for certifying Soldiers in Air Defense systems and posture.
• Demonstrated experience in the technical support and operations of the ICC, ECS, RS, CRG, BMC, IFF, AMG, GMT, LRPT AND LS.
• Experienced in using ECS troubleshooting software aids such as Status Monitor.
• Knowledge and experience in the utilization of common industry external test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum and digital analyzers).
• Demonstrated experience providing Technical Instruction and Training in a classroom environment.
• Experience with industry practices, techniques, and standards.
• Minimum of 4 years of direct experience with organizational level maintenance on Patriot Missile Systems.
• Must have completed courses: U.S. Army Patriot Operator and System Mechanic Course for MOS; 24T/14E, 140E or equivalent; or Patriot Missile System Contractor.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Ability to develop defense designs for various locations and threats; experience with Battalion level Tactical Seminar (TACSEM).
• Knowledge in Patriot Engagement Control Station Operations.
• Experience as a Tactical Control Officer (TCO).
• Field engineer experience with Patriot Configuration II/III at the organizational level.
• Knowledge of Remote Launch Communication Upgrade (RLCEU) maintenance and operation.
• Fiber Optic/RF cable troubleshooting; knowledge of military communications systems and encryption devices.
• US military Instructor training and experience in Patriot Missile Systems.
• Experience working with an OCONUS customer.

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 8 years of related experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience
• US Army Master Gunner's Course

• Onsite: Employees in Onsite roles work primarily onsite.
• Salary range: 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. Offers depend on experience, location, education, and skills.
• Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits and potential incentive programs; performance and other factors apply.
• This role is U.S.-based; location within the U.S. will determine pay structure and benefits.
