Pattern maker

Inch Factory is seeking an experienced Pattern Maker to translate design sketches into accurate, production-ready patterns across luxury/modest womenswear (abayas, kaftans, dresses, RTW). You’ll lead fittings, grading, and marker efficiency, and partner closely with Sampling and Production to deliver premium quality on time.

Responsibilities

• Create, digitize, and refine patterns from sketches/tech packs (Gerber, Lectra, or Optitex).
• Lead fit sessions; record corrections; update patterns/blocks; maintain tolerances.
• Grade size sets to GCC size charts; issue measurement specs and seam allowances.
• Build markers and optimize fabric consumption/yields; share consumption sheets with Merch/Procurement.
• Prepare production-ready tech packs (pattern pieces, BOM, construction notes).
• Maintain a clean pattern library, version control, and SOP compliance.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a Pattern Maker in womenswear (abaya/kaftan experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in Gerber/Lectra/Optitex (manual drafting skills welcomed).
